We have 10 Golf Course Program Locations plus our own Junior Tour for those 12 – 18 years old who want to play competitive golf. Each of our locations has its own custom junior golf classes and they handle all of their own registrations. The best way to get details is to contact the course or courses you are interested in and talk to the lead coach. The can let you know about class details, how much they cost, and how to go about registering.
Golf is unique from other sports because players learn values like honesty and responsibility by calling penalties on themselves and reporting their own score. The sport is a perfect platform for helping young people develop character because just like in life, players experience the highs and lows of the game.

The First Tee nine core values
The first tee nine healthy habits
“We have two sons who are scratch golfers in a non-golfing family. This never could have happened without The First Tee of Greater Sacramento. Andrew and Austin started out in a SAYGolf camp around age 10, just to expose them to the game. They enjoyed it and continued into Little Linkers playing 18 holes with an adult, and then The Junior Tour and competition. They have learned many life lessons from the game and their experiences surrounding it. They have learned to love golf. I especially appreciate the core values and life skills focus of The First Tee versus the domination of competition/winning with other golf programs. The First Tee has helped us raise our sons to feel comfortable with themselves in the world, and give back to the community. I can’t speak highly enough about the difference it has made in our lives.”
